Space Ships

Started modeling a space ship for my demo reel scene. It has a lot of hidden features like hatches that open to reveal ladders for access to the top of the engines, the flaps over the engines open and close, the antennae can collapse and be hidden inside the engine, etc. To give a reason, it's for when the ship enters atmosphere. You know, to protect the fragile bits from intense heat.

I love making things work. :)

It's Time for an Update

Done with the 4th Quarter, onto the 5th.

Here's some work from the end of 4th quarter, as well as some (slightly) newer stuff:

Got some progress on lizard girl here. Redid the clothes, minor body edits, and some other stuff. Almost ready to UV then ZBrush.


Here's another reptile-related thing, this time a steampunky mechanic dragon. I think I'll model her lowpoly and toony just for fun. Her name's Iz.


The robot returns yet again. It needs some detail work, then it's all set for UV and some ZBrush tweaks. Decided to call it LEAPR.


Last but not least, a concept I put together for the spacesuit I'm going to model for my demo reel. Red and Blue plates are armour variations in the design.

Progress on Lizard Chick

Did a lot of work on the her in the past day and a bit. The clothes and accessories are mostly done, the body mesh is basically final. All that's left to do is final tweaking, then I can UV and texture her, and from there, Zbrush! Oh, as a last note, the colours are all just shaders to help me distinguish parts, not final. I should also start stressing that this character is, in fact, not my own! I am simply modeling based off of a picture. All character credit goes to the respective author.
